Course: Connecting Universities with Society through Research Outcomes

October 19 / November 22

Do you want your research findings to make an impact beyond academic publications?

You will learn how to:

  • Identify opportunities to apply research findings in industry, social, and institutional contexts.
  • Map and characterize key stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration between universities and society.
  • Translate scientific findings into practical solutions that address real-world needs.
  • Assess the maturity and applicability of your research findings.
  • Design university–society collaboration proposals using tools such as the Proposal Canvas and impact assessment tools.
  • Develop a roadmap with deliverables and indicators to guide and demonstrate the impact of your research.

Through a practical methodology based on Project-Based Learning (PBL) and the analysis of real-world cases, you will work on your own research projects to identify opportunities for engagement and develop a collaboration proposal with the potential to create meaningful impact.

Join a community committed to advancing innovation and excellence in higher education.
