The State University of Milagro (UNEMI) continues to demonstrate its commitment to quality education through the implementation of the EENTITLE Project. As part of this project, the process of acquiring the technological equipment necessary for the Competency Development Training Center (CDC), a key initiative for the continuous training of teachers in the area of engineering, is in full swing.
This process, corresponding to task T4.2 of Work Package 4 (WP4), seeks to establish a pilot center that promotes the use of advanced technologies and innovative pedagogical strategies. The CDC is designed to:
· Provide a modern and flexible environment that facilitates the updating and continuous training of educators.
· Incorporate cutting-edge technological tools and interactive classrooms, promoting active learning methodologies.
· Create a model that can be replicated in other educational institutions in the country, strengthening teaching skills and contributing to the development of the education sector in Ecuador.
The publication of the expression of interest for suppliers was made on November 1, 2024, marking a milestone in the purchasing process. This announcement, disseminated through UNEMI’s institutional channels, has generated a positive response, guaranteeing the participation of suppliers interested in providing the necessary equipment.
The CDC is emerging as a fundamental space for teacher professionalization, aligned with the objectives of the EENTITLE Project and UNEMI’s commitment to educational innovation. The implementation of this center reaffirms the university’s leadership in international cooperation projects and its commitment to continuous improvement in higher education.
